Multichannel SAR Moving Target Detection via RPCA-Net

چکیده
Ground moving target indication (GMTI), as a challenging task for synthetic aperture radar (SAR) systems, keeps drawing considerable attention. Robust principal component analysis (RPCA) aiming at separating low-rank and sparse components has been successfully employed in SAR systems GMTI recently. However, its practical application is limited by the heavy computational burden well requirement of manual parameter modification. To cope with this problem, fast free presetting parameters RPCA network (RPCA-Net) proposed SAR-GMTI under strong clutter background. In method, novel model first introduced, where not only terms but also errors are taken into account. Moreover, factorization plus scaled gradient descent (ScaledGD) to acquire background rather than singular value decomposition (SVD). Then, we parameterize our unfold it feedforward neural (FNN) iterative through backpropagation. Compared methods based on traditional models, RPCA-Net can provide higher detection ability faster convergence without empirically. Experiments two groups measured data collected airborne validate superior performance RPCA-Net.

Moving Target Detection on SAR Images
Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) is a well known technique for generating high-resolution images stationary scenes but it is not adapted to imaging moving targets as the movement of a target induces both a delocalization and a defocusing effect in a SAR image. The aim of this paper is to analyse the signatures of moving targets in SAR images and to present techniques to detect them, from one sing...
متن کاملSAR and Moving Target Indication
Synthetic aperture radar provides high-resolution images of the non-moving ground scene, but fails to indicate and position moving objects. A short review of the motioninduced effects occurring in SAR images will open this lecture. Like in special airborne MTI systems, the solution to the SAR MTI problem is to use an array of antennas or subapertures and several receiving channels to cancel the...
متن کاملMoving Target Detection and Trajectory Estimation Using SAR Data
Conventional Synthetic Aperture Radar processing leads to moving targets being imaged displaced from their real positions and blurred. This is mainly due to the used reference phase no longer being valid, including an additional Doppler-shift and a Doppler-spread. Since these effects are not considered in the focusing algorithm, the resulting SAR image shows the moving targets defocused and/or ...
متن کاملTarget detection in SAR images via radiometric multi-resolution analysis
This paper presents a target detection method in synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images with radiometric multiresolution analysis (RMA). The idea is that target saliency can be efficiently computed by comparing the statistics of targets and those of the local background around them. In order to compute reliable statistics of targets, which usually involve a small number of pixels, RMA is adopted...
متن کاملMultichannel Along-Track Interferometric SAR Systems: Moving Targets Detection and Velocity Estimation
Along-track interferometric synthetic aperture radar (AT-InSAR) systems are used to estimate the radial velocity of targets moving on the ground, starting from the interferometric phases, obtained by the combinations of two complex SAR images acquired by two antennas spatially separated along the platform moving direction. Since the radial velocity estimation obtained from a single-phase interf...
